Tula Blu
Tula Blu is the name of our vintage Airstream mobile massage studio. Traditionally a girl’s name, Tula means “mountain peak” or “to be tranquil.” Blu speaks to Shaconage, the Cherokee name for the Great Smoky Mountains which means “Land of the Blue Smoke.”
Tula Blu is an officially registered 26’ vintage 1959 Airstream Land Yacht originally manufactured in Santa Fe Springs, California. Although not much is known about her early years, she was purchased in 2012 by Brandon Zinninger in Cortez, Colorado shortly before he started Reparadise. Brandon and his crew spent the next 8 years slowly reworking her structurally in West Valley City, Utah. We purchased her in November 2021 and designed the interior specifically for onsite massage services. Work was completed in July and she made her maiden voyage to Tennessee in August.
Tula Blu is now here, completely restored & renewed and is repurposed to do the very same for you!

Amy
Founder
Amy is a native of Knoxville and former CPA who experienced the healing power of human touch first hand on her cancer recovery journey. This had such a profound impact on her that she chose to follow her passion to help others by first becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist and subsequently Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, the profession’s highest credential.
Amy credits COVID-19 for the genesis of Tula Blu Events, as most doors closed to onsite wellness services for over 2 years. She sees Tula Blu Events as “a huge win for our community,” because it brings the healing power of human touch when and where people need it, whether that’s the workplace, festivals, private events or even vacationing in the Smokies.
Steve
Lead Therapist
Steve has been providing onsite massage services to the East Tennessee business community since 1992. He is one of the foremost seated massage therapists in the United States trained under David Palmer, the father of chair massage. In June 2022, Steve’s practice, AtWorkMassage, joined Tula Blu Events. As Lead Therapist, Steve oversees training to ensure therapists employ massage techniques safely and consistently while still maintaining the flexibility to address each individual’s area(s) of concern.
Steve’s vision is “to see chair massage embraced by businesses large and small as one of the best investments that can be made in their employees. It reduces pain and stress, which in turn benefits immune system response and increases productivity."
Rachelle
Rachelle graduated from the U.S. Career Institute massage therapy program in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2012 and the Mind Body Institute in Nashville, Tennessee in 2015. Rachelle has worked at Blackberry Farm and with Marriott hotel spas as a trainer.
Rachelle fell in love with massage when she was just five years old. “I really liked helping my mom by rubbing her feet after she had a long day of work. At that time, I just knew that what I was doing was helping my mom's feet not to hurt. Years later, when I decided to go to massage school, is when I learned to what a great extent massage does help the body.”
Amanda
Amanda has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 24 years, the vast majority of which she practiced at Blackberry Farm. She is proficient in a variety of massage modalities including relaxation, medical massage, movement therapy and postural analysis. In addition to being a gifted massage therapist, Amanda is also a dancer and photographer. Amanda is truly a people person and finds joy serving others.
Dan
Practice Manager
Every team needs a captain, and Captain Dan is ours. A self-described “recovering” corporate attorney, Dan retired in chronic pain and barely able to function from years of desk work. After rounds of physical therapy, he then met and married his massage therapist spouse. Dan now gladly employs his background and experience to support and manage the massage therapy team which also includes captaining Tula Blu, the Land Yacht. Ironically, Dan holds a USCG Captain’s license which officially makes him our captain!
